Custom painting my NES.
Re: Custom painting my NES.
That's not to say that the regular old Krylon wouldn't work well, but I don't know since I've never tried it. The Fusion is great stuff though, so long as you let it fully cure before handling it any more then reassembling it. If anything, you might get away with using Fusion as a primer (white would probably be best) with a couple of light coats, then go over it with regular Krylon (since more colors are available) before it dries.

I am just so happy right now to see Budsmoka's old threads. I crack up every single time!

You could also consider vinyl dye since it is a light gray system.

Another possibility is Krylon X-Metals paint, which is designed for metal but will be absorbed into the plastic. I used it on my Game Boy and I'm pleased with how it turned out.

I've seen someone post on here using automotive paint. Can't find the thread at the moment though.KDub wrote:This joke will just never dieStark wrote:Are you thinking all white? Or marijuana leaf?![]()
You'll want to use a paint that can stick to a plastic such as Krylon, I believe some people have used Auto paint but don't hold me to that. Either way don't just go buy plain ol' spray paint it won't stick or will eat away at the plastic.
