Shin Megami Tensei IV

I got the limited edition in the mail recently. It looks nice. Is this game better than Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga? I never could get into those games, try as I might.

Locked in on neutral. For whatever reason I was getting 'law' so I ended up doing this one boss fight 3 times and finally made the right choices after to get 'neutral'. I was surprised that I didn't get neutral right away. But I guess that's what happens when I only follow the answer guide when I feet like it. Even after the split.

Anyway. Here I am! Right where I wanted to be. And now I can stop caring about whether I am making the right choices and just continue playing.

Just hit the first major decision that indicates that you're going to have a branching path

And I finally am at Neutral! I sided with Walter, which left me still at Law. I then did the Hunter Finals, killed everyone, and I'm Neutral. Which puts me at the point where if I make all Chaos choices and a single Law, and then side with Law at the final decision point, I'll be on the Neutral path.

Yea. I must have made too many law choices after the split. I was neutral before the split. Sided with Walter. Still neutral. Sided with Jonathan @ the final point and became law. Sided with Jonathan and supposedly avoided the forced +5 from remote. Still law. Sided with Walter at the final decision point and got neutral. lol.

I'm pretty happy with ending up having to side with Walter multiple times to get neutral since he's more of a human being I could get along with than Jonathan.

Something interesting I just read. Pokemon X & Y are also adding horde battles, which SMTIV has. What other RPGs have horde battles? Kinda curious now.

Welp, for the first time in a long time I've hit a really tough boss. Gotta reconfigure my party for this one. I think if I make a few more demons optimized for this boss I'll be fine. It's lvl90. I am currently lvl85. It's a good 15 level jump from any other boss I've faced in this game.

y'all are really making me want this game. And than beautiful LE makes it even more tempting. Little low on $ right now though (buy my stuff!) and I'm also having a tough time deciding if I should purchase this or Fire Emblem Awakening first (IE: which one will I want to sink serious time into sooner?).
