Agreed. Anybody that says it doesn't have charm probably needs their noggin checked.

Beyond good and Evil while being very good, it should not be considered great considering half the game is missing.

Yep. I think the N64 controller is great. I could never use the dual shock that PlayStation was forced to design after the N64 broke the mold; I'd much rather use the original PS1 controller.
I don't know why, but I pretty much don't like any RPGs besides the original zelda. That is if you would even consider it an RPG. I owned a copy of chrono trigger for a decade without ever playing more than 2-3 minutes of it. Final fantasy 7 was supposed to be good, but I just couldn't get into it. They're just not my thing I guess.
Not sure how popular/unpopular it is, but I also don't like the Wii overall. I'd rather have a gamecube than the wii's forced motion controls.

I feel the same way about the GameCube controller over the Wii controller. If given the choice, I'll always take the GameCube version of a game over the Wii version because of that.
But at the same time, there are some real gems on the Wii that are exclusive to it. A good majority of them being Nintendo titles, but still worth it nonetheless.

Beneath its bells and whistles Steam is just glorified DRM.

That's not really an unpopular opinion. That's just stating a fact.
