The top screen on my 3Ds has cracked!
We had a family get together and I left my 3ds in my butt pocket.
I had to help out and move stuff and I forgot/was too busy to put away the 3DS!
Now the screen is busted!
Im now in a dilema!
Should I send this guy off for repair or just buy a new one?
I dont really have much of any games in this! I just have one game I used for my club nintendo points (kirby pinball) and a bunch of demos. I havent redeemed my annual gift. I was going to get Zelda Gameboy, but now I'm not so sure!
If I had lots of games saved up on this console, then yeah. But I dont. I know download games are console locked so not having much is a good thing?
I looked online and the top screens are expensive. I guess its still new technology and its gonna cost me.
Nintendo Customer Service and Repair is charging me $100 + tax on repair. It says I'm still under warranty but they are discounting $25 because of this (originally $125). There's another site that offers repairs for $100 as well with free shipping.
The cost of repair is a little over half of the cost of what the system is anyways!
So please my racketboy peeps!
Send it in for repair? Or just buy another one?
