Id' recommend playing Socom Confrontation as much as you can because they are closing the servers in January. Once that happens, it becomes a nice coaster for your drinks since there isn't an offline mode.

Yeah noticed that. Figured I would get $1.50 out of it before it became a space filler in my collection. Up to this point I have never played a Socom game online :P.

Last time I went to Gamestop was....when the PS3 came out.

I hate them, their prices are crap and they stopped carrying old games and systems.

How dare they charge close to the MSRP for used games! And yeah, they're s.o.b.'s for not carrying outdated technology that only a niche market is interested in!

Alas.... It took quite a while, but my local Gamestop has finally dumped all the used DS and PSP games and placed them in either those little black towers or those orange paper sleeves.

I'm really not surprised about the PSP games. They haven't had much good in there (that I didn't already have, anyway) for quite a while. And what they did have was 97% disk only anyway. But their used and complete DS selection was the only one in the area. It was sad to see it get dumped in favor of expanding the ipod/ipad/skylanders selection :?

I'm glad I have other used game stores to go too for complete games, as this really bummed me out

They also condensed their Wii selection. They've still got a ton of Wii games, but they've crammed them into a smaller area. I found a couple games I wanted, so I picked them up, lest I wait too long and they meet the same fate as their DS and PSP counterparts.

Yes, the Wii section here is barely browsable. Everything is stuffed in vertically into a bin.

Good- Love when new consoles come out on the market, because GS puts the older stuff on sale for dirt cheap.

The huge displays advertising only a couple of newly released games also are ridiculous. Frustrating knowing all of this contribute to the case toss.

So far the Wii games here are still in the cases although only about half are CIB. Sadly it will happen, I have bought a ton of used CIB Wii games on the cheap at Gamestop, imagine there will be titles that slipped by.
