The Blu Ray of TKFM is either on, or about to be, on sale.

Rex Kramer for the win.

I'd rather see a sequal to Demoltion Man. Wesley Snipes is out of prison finally.

dsheinem wrote:The movie wasn't really that good...it gets points for having a strong 80s action movie vibe which was nice to see in a nostalgic way, but it didn't really bring anything new worth seeing to those cliched formulas. No standout characters, scenes, etc...it was homage with no identity or soul of its own.
I completely agree. Hell, the cheesiness of the original Judge Dredd made it more memorable than the latest Dredd film.

Absolutely! I love that movie!

Also I'm pretty sure the Robocop reboot is going to be awful, so signed.

Yeah I'm afraid its going to be awful also. A pg-13 Robocop not set in Detroit? I'll pass.
I think they're afraid if they set it in Detroit it would hit the people of Detroit a little too hard at this point.
PG-13 today, is a lot different than back then, though. Pretty much as long as you don't have nudity, sex, or torture; it'll pass a PG-13 rating.

Robocop would not be PG13 today. Language is another way to get to R

PG-13 means no Paul Verhoeven levels of blood and gore.

I'm pretty sure the extended scenes of Murphy being shot as well as the ED-209 demo fail counted as torturous in the eyes of the ratings board if they were unable to see it as cartoonish commentary.

Exactly. I think it's more insulting to Detroit that it's too bad for even Robocop now.

I was actually thinking that Detroit is about to turn into Robocop Detroit; the only thing missing is there's no megacorp named OCP, so it would be Microsoft or McDonalds buying out Detroit now that it's bankrupt.
