When I first read the thread title I thought it was some mod or something from the GFAQs user/writer President Evil. His SH 1 and 2 plot guides are legendary.

I tried ReMake when it was new on GC and again on the Wii reissue. I hadn't played more than 20 minutes of the original RE before hand, and in my opinion, ReMake is not an easy game to warm up to if you haven't already slogged through the original RE1. Graphically, ReMake holds up extremely well. In every other aspect, as someone new to the early games, I doubt most people can stick with it for long.
