I got it with Prime shipping.Jmustang1968 wrote:It was prime eligible. Is it still sold through amazon or an affiliate now?MrPopo wrote:I don't really have a standard of comparison. The only art books I've purchased are the Hyrule Historia and the MM25: Mega Man Complete Works. But looking at the price for that, and looking at how much is in this, I think I'm going to go and purchase.
Oh wow, it's not even eligible for Prime shipping. It must be sitting in some strange middleground; when I purchased my floor-standing AC unit from Amazon it was Prime eligible.

Strange. It's still shipped from and sold by Amazon, it's just no longer Prime eligible.

Well, I saw that it was 600 pages and I figured if I can justify spending ~$40 on the Mega Man book of 450 then I can justify ~$50 on Amano art.

Smile - We had some issues with our taxes this year, and finally got them resolved, so we received our tax return on Monday. My wife and I decided that we were going to spend most of it on paying off past debts. We are now debt free, with exception to the usual things (house, car, student loans). She got an iPhone 4s for herself, and a whole slew of new scrub tops and bottoms for her work.
Ticked - I wanted to spend around $1,000 of it on my old truck just to get it going again, and use it as my daily driver, but the funds mostly went to the old debt. I don't think there will be enough left over for that.
Ticked X2 - On almost all occasions, she feels that I am the person in the relationship that doesn't communicate things effectively. She wants us to communicate on pretty much every level, which I have tried tirelessly to live up to her expectations. I just opened up facebook, looked at a new message I had received. She got us a dog. Without as much as dropping a single hint that she had any plans to do so. I love dogs as much as the next person, but I feel like she could have at least said something to me about it before hand.
I don't really know how to approach her about this whole dog thing. I know she wants a dog for our kid, as he does love animals. But I feel like I could have at least been included in the decision. A pet is no small task. She keeps saying "He was free!"
... There is no such thing as a "free" pet.

Ticked/perplexed/kinda worried - I'm off for lunch at 3am. On the way home, some jackass left a giant heavy trashcan full of dirt and twigs in the middle of the road, I had to get out and move the thing out of the way myself.
I see some guy at the end of the road walking away. It's a bit odd to see someone walking around that late around here, but not that odd. I get home though, and my girlfriend tells me that someone apparently tried to open the kitchen side door about 10 minutes before I got there, but left when they found it locked.
...I have no idea if any of these three occurrences are related, but I'm definitely a bit worried with the last one. WTF.
EDIT: Oh the last one was just my girlfriend's brother. Issues with his wife and whatnot I guess. Still doesn't explain the trash can.

It's an awesome feeling isn't it?
Nothing is free. Even "Buy One get one Free" is bullsnot. You still have to buy something.
Laugh: Okay, this is juvenile, but there is a Woman's Business Owners convention called "In The Pink" being held in my town. Not "Pink Convention" or "Women of Business" it's called "In The Pink".
Call me crazy, but that doesn't sound empowering.

That convention has the makings of being a real shocker. See if your local waste management company can hold a convention twice as big next door just for the lulz.Luke wrote:puke_face wrote:We are now debt free...
