THIS. That Science Chef needs to leave the reality set and go back to his best show, Good Eats.

I hate slugging thru all the other Edutainment channels as well just to find anything I can actually learn from. Discovery, TLC, History, Military, National Geographic, Science and even regular channels are fully of the faked reality shows. Once in a while they come thru with not Reality but REAL Documentaries such as the Universe, Wormhole and the Earth series.

Unfortunately, due to his success Alton has become a major dick. I'm surprised he doesn't refer to himself in the third person these days. I still enjoy his cook/text books, but that's about it. He can stay in "Kitchen Stadium" (how lame) for all I care.

Discovery Channel is still pretty good, but TLC has been a turd for years upon years. Remember when the learning channel was about learning and the only reality show on it was a rarely staged Trading Places (I still crush on Paige Davis. She's always had something about her that turns me on)? And remember when the History channel was basically Hitler tv? Those were the days.

And unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there are many Myths left to be busted. However I do enjoy Modern Marvels, and that show that shows how things are manufactured...You know that show that shows how radial tires are made and it always has that syncopated music that sounds like *picka pooka chicka wicka bee bee pop pop boop boop*

Not at all. I just find it ironic that Norris complains about me complaining about Canadians, while complaining about another nationality himself.

Yeah, but you're acting like everyone should be like you, while the Canadian is just pronouncing the letter like the rest of the English-speaking world pronounces it.

Also, the original Z *did* have a dental in it. Not only is the letter zeta, but also was a combination of z + d.

No one is saying you have to pronounce it as zed, but you look like a ignorant dumbfuck when you expect others to conform to your country's way of pronunciation/spelling/etc.

Pronouncing it zed makes someone sound like an ignorant dumb fuck.

And they should conform to the English language, not the country. If they spoke Mexican Spanish, then zeta would be fine. In the parts of Canada that speak predominately French, then whatever they use for Z is fine. In English, I'd even go as far as saying NORTH AMERICAN CONTINENTAL ENGLISH, it's pronounced ZEE. Not zed.

He has been a dick for a long time. He couldnt make it in the film industry because he was a terrible camera operator and cinematographer. So he quit, went to culinary school, and came back with a new style of cooking show. He burns through crew though. He is known to go to the camera and make changes while threatening the operator if he changes them he will be fired, then firing him for a poor product after the fact. I know several people who were "not good enough" to work on his Route 66 show that never took off, but they were good enough to make other cooking shows and feature films...

And the Z/Zed/Zeta tangent is now over, on to the next. I suggest Bananas. Specifically banana wielding maniacs
