Actually it's in the North American Continent. Not "in America." Is Spain's Geography knowledge derived from the same King that had a lisp and the rest of the country decided to go along with it, thus affecting the language from then on?

Yeah, but you're acting like everyone should be like you, while the Canadian is just pronouncing the letter like the rest of the English-speaking world pronounces it.

Also, the original Z *did* have a dental in it. Not only is the letter zeta, but also was a combination of z + d.

No one is saying you have to pronounce it as zed, but you look like a ignorant dumbfuck when you expect others to conform to your country's way of pronunciation/spelling/etc.
