They've said they want to do it for awhile ... I would imagine the legalities for Valve considering all developers who participate in Steam is a nightmare to allow them to offer across the board re-selling support.
But it does look like that's the current direction. The market is up, and people are starting to use it.
What are you getting from the Steam sale?

Yeah it would be a licensing nightmare. Truthfully, lending would be more than good enough for me. But the ability to resell titles I no longer want, and the developer gets a cut, well I would have even less reason to buy a xbone/ps4.

Hope this happens. I've got quite a few games I've bought that I'll truly never actually play. "Oh, I'll try that out I guess." Two years later and I just don't care enough to actually start it up.fastbilly1 wrote:I hope they eventually utilize the market system so you can sell off games from your library. Also, adding more games onto Valve's development schedule is a bad thing at this point in time.

I think the low price of digital games (sometimes on sale, sometimes surprise its FREE day) makes up for not being able to resell it later on.CavZee wrote:Hope this happens. I got Just Cause 2 for the multiplayer beta but it seems the MP is still rubbish and the trolls are aplenty.

How do you ever get the time to play all those games? The more I grow up the harder I find myself playing games. Maybe its just me , but I kind of made my mind up , good games will never be over and if I continue to buy them I will just be stuck in the room gaming.
I decided to stay away, and play a game every month or more.

Well, you don't really find the time. But it gives you something to strive for, and at some point I'll retire and have more time to play.RCBH928 wrote:How do you ever get the time to play all those games? To add to this, I love to have a large choice of games to play. Outside of social activities (which happen 2-4 times a month) this is my primary hobby so having a vast selection of games is a good thing, as there is always something fun to do.MrPopo wrote: Well, you don't really find the time. if you take a peek at the "Games Beaten" threads over the years you'll see that lots of folks fonish a game or two a week over the course of the year, most without sinking unhealthy amount of hours into them. RPGs obviously take more time, but you can beat and see much of a fighter, indie platformer, run n gun, brawler, etc in a few hours.RCBH928 wrote:How do you ever get the time to play all those games?
