Re: Transitions: The Launch Games/End Games Blog
Dave, I really enjoyed your article on the 96 Fifa game compared to the 2005 version. The Retro League did something similar on their podcast where they talked about the first games and last games of each console but they didn't go into the detail that you did in your article plus the pictures really help illustrate your points.
You should really consider doing a Fifa 2000 vs Fifa 2013 (or 2014 after it releases) comparison for the Playstation 2. From what I was able to find, Fifa 2000 was a launch game in Japan and Fifa 2013 actually still came out in Europe (no U.S. release for either game). I do know there will be a 2014 release of Fifa 2014 soccer though

Re: Transitions: The Launch Games/End Games Blog
thanks again for the kind words, everyone. they motivate me to do this more often.
Purkeynator I'd be up for doing another comparison article in a future post, and FIFA PS2 would be as good a candidate as any I suppose. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep it in mind (though no promises/guesses as to if/when I do it).
