Modchip on Saturn Model 2

So I installed the modchip to my saturn, and it wont work. I turn on the system it pulls up the menu and both the spheres on each side are yellow/red. I have re-checked the power cable, and the ribbon to the main board. All seem to be fine. I'm not sure what is going on. Also what is the A-B method? I tried to find it on segaextreme but could not find it. Anyone offer any help would be appreciated. Oh, and thank you racketboy for sending me the chip so fast. Got it in 4 days!
