Indeed. I don't care about sports or sports games, but still an interesting read showing the progress.

I actually enjoying reading about sports games quite a bit, even if I don't play them all that often.

I'd like to see you do a similar article for the oXbox or PS2. The end games looked so much better than the launch ones last gen.

That happens almost every gen. Dig through the old blog posts and I think there's at least one or two PS2 related entries. I know there's one of Ridge Racer 5, for example.

As for the comparison thing, I plan to do others at some point, but I really prefer them to be the same franchise/series and at very extreme ends of a console. That usually means sports titles...

Dave, I re-read your blog post last night as I picked this up for Saturn finally. Always assumed people exaggerated how bad this game was. But no. It's really bad. If it were just digitized actors running on the SF2 engine, it would be funny/ugly but fun. Sadly, this is just super slow and unresponsive. The story mode was a good idea anyway...

Oh and in the post you mention 2 songs from the soundtrack that got videos. Believe it or not the soundtrack was quite good - Nas, Ice Cube, Anotha Level, Ras Kass, etc. But I wanted to point out a really great video that came from the soundtrack:

Pretty eye opening with the articles in the official Sega magazine at the time.
