I got 2 copies of Kirby's Dream Collection at Target today for $7.99 each. One for me, and one for a friend.
Nice! I'm tempted but since the Gamestop employee took care of me with the ten dollar system coupon honored for a Wii game, I'll stick with the copy I have. Puts me out at a nine dollar loss since I have no plans on buying another Wii, PS2 or DS. Ah well, best to keep the good rapport for future transactions.

Great ideas for anyone who is interested in buying a copy, the game collection is definitely worth it!

If anyone feels like picking one up for me, I wouldn't mind.

This never got a PAL release, so fat chance finding it locally.

You know what I mean...

You see a game for cheap. You think you can make a profit on it. You buy it, sell it, and put the money aside for something not game related. So you didn't buy it to fund your own game collection, but to buy something completely different with the money...

Mentally there might be a difference for some people between buying to fund that same hobby, or buying simply to make a profit to use on something else...
i don't think there's a difference. it's your money; save it/spend it how you like.

i would hazard a guess that people who think there is a difference are insufferable assholes.

I might see if the Kirby collection is physically in my local Target. The problem I see is that it's not available for shipping on Bestbuy.com and Target might not price match it if it's not available at the website

Here was my haul today

My wonderful girlfriend found a bag of Atari games at Goodwill today. It was $4.99 for the entire set. There are 29 games total.

There was even a bag of manuals. However, only one manual goes with a game.

I have to pick up an Atari now since this is the biggest section in my collection. Hopefully, I got something good to play. Anyone with Atari knowledge have any comments?

I also picked up this copy of FFVII for $20. It's a Greatest Hits copy but I never pictured I would own FFVII ever. The disks look good and the manual is still with it.

nice find on the atari carts, there are some uncommon ones in there. if you're unaware, spend a little time over at atariage.com and peruse the rarity guide. lots of awesome information over there and everyone on the forum is very helpful and knowledgeable.

@Aar1012

Buy an Atari 2600 right now. It rules.

Definitely pick up a 2600 and spend some time perusing atariage. 2600 collecting is a lot of fun; there is a lot of interesting "trivia" to learn about the system; and it is easy to build a very large collection for very little money. Have fun!

Plus it's easy to stack a bunch of Atari cartridges vertically and have your baby knock them all over in a row like Dominoes.

I may try to do this tomorrow. How do you get Target to match Best Buy's internet price? Do I need to print it out from Best Buy's website?
