I think the view here reflects that way because we are a collector centered forum, that is all. I vote for keep but hey, do what you gotta!

I see no problem in using your knowledge of the hobby and its market to buy low, sell high, and further your own collecting interests. "Flipping" in the name of funding games/systems that you are actually interested in seems a-ok to me.

What about flipping it to buy a new car for instance.

Does that make a difference?...

I guess not, though it somehow seems less noble

Honestly buying and flipping to pay for a car I'd consider to be unwise. Too many random factors in play, it's just not a stable enough source of income. Better to simply save up paychecks.

You know what I mean...

You see a game for cheap. You think you can make a profit on it. You buy it, sell it, and put the money aside for something not game related. So you didn't buy it to fund your own game collection, but to buy something completely different with the money...

Mentally there might be a difference for some people between buying to fund that same hobby, or buying simply to make a profit to use on something else...

Just so you guys know, Target, Walmart, and other places price match Best Buy.

I got 2 copies of Kirby's Dream Collection at Target today for $7.99 each. One for me, and one for a friend.

never trust best buys no local stock from the website, if the store is close enough always go in.
