Kind of wished they went with the dumb Drax, but I get it. Two green behemoths might be a bit much.

SDCC: Marvel Unveils Logo for Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron"

Earlier this evening, Marvel Studios and Joss Whedon surprised fans in Hall H at Comic-Con International by unveiling the title -- and villain -- of the final movie in Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Now, the studio follows up with the debut of the logo for what is undoubtedly the most anticipated movie from Marvel to date.

So then my question is, what the hell happened with Thanos being the main villain?

I thought all the individual movies' sequels & Guardians of the Galaxy were phase 2, and Avengers 2 was the culmination of all the individual movies (which would have Thanos, as the end of the Avengers 1 hinted).

Maybe Thanos is the villain for Phase 3?

So MCU + Avengers 1: Phase 1
2nd MCU + GotG + Avengers 2: Phase 2
????

Just watched JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE FLASHPOINT PARADOX

I've not read the Flashpoint comic event, but I'm almost positive a lot of stuff was cut from this animated movie. But damn, what a ride! Great flick. The DCAU is just crazy good and keeps cranking out some great movies. From what I can tell it looks like this movie takes place in the Young Justice universe. You can see Kaldur in there and he looks just like the YJ version, albeit with a few differences because of the story.

There's some violence, a little blood, a beheading, and a heart wrenching scene with Kal-El in the Flashpoint universe. Totally enjoyed the hell out of it and I dont know if it's out on DVD/BR yet or not, but if it is, I'm buyin' the hell out of the bluray.
