What are you getting from the Steam sale?

This Steam sale has been kinda meh for me at least. But I did pick up some games I have been meaning to so one can never be immune to the Steam sale syndrome.

I picked up:
System Shock 2
Torchlight 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution + DLC
XCOM: Enemy Unknown + DLC
Ion Assault

Alright, so I picked up the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC, Torchlight 2, and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Not getting anything else, and I'm now totally done with PC games for at least a year or two.

Easily the smallest amount of things I've ever bought from a Steam sale.

I don't think it's been a weak sale; there's been a ton of awesome games on discount. The problem for me is I already own all the awesome games.

I think most Steam sales that would be defined as "weak" are because I already own all the games that have great deals on them

I guess the card collecting gimmick didn't work for me. There have been better metagames.

Really though it's been mostly newer, more popular, and mainstream games that have been getting those really big discounts with the daily deals and flash sales. Last year it seemed like almost every single game went on a huge 75% or more off sale at some point.

And the pay-to-win "deals" on freemium games are just ridiculous.
