What do I do with a Game Boy that doesn't work? Fix it? Mod it? Any suggestions?

does it have sentimental value for you? Whats exactly wrong with it?

otherwise give it a viking funeral

Is it easy to find gameboys where you live? They can be quite plentiful.

Maybe find another gameboy and frankenstein one.

Well I can get another one for 5 bucks. They are pretty common. The screen keeps flickering every time I play a game, making it unplayable. I've had it ever since I was a kid.

gameboy funeral -

pretty stupid but I like when she waves her hands over it dramatically and the little boys extremely sad face.

Son'ov'a--! That was an AGS-101 GBA! :x

Anyway, not to sound too callous, but original Game Boy: meh. Memorialize it, or trash it for a new one. Dime a dozen. Although, I thought those things were indestructible. If you really wanted to, you could try swapping out the screen. Depends on how devoted to that GB you are, though. (I wouldn't.)

Don't trash it!

If it comes down to throwing it in the garbage, at the VERY least let some one take it off your hands.

-You can sell it online
-Use it for parts
-Use it for custom practice
-Make something out of the shell(ex: i have seen people put ipod nanos or gba's in them)
-Or give it to a fellow racketeer who might be in need of one!
