Amazon finally got #3 right. They sent my game in a box via fedex Saturday shipping. Had they done this the first time arouns it wouldve salvaged 2 games and saved them money

I have to send them back. But I set them outside and UPS comes to pick them up.

Nope. Not if damaged in shipping. Amazons customer service is great. I try not to abuse it. But their decisions on what items to ship in what containers sucks.

Mine came in a bubble mailer as well which is a rarity for me. =(

Luckily it was in flawless condition, so I'd have to say maybe you've got bad luck with how it's being sorted, shipped, and delivered by UPS.

That being said, I'm going to be careful about ordering special editions from Amazon in the future. =/

My suspicion is that Jmustang did something to piss off his local UPS man, and now he's paying for it. Amazon wouldn't keep using the bubble mailer if customers kept getting damaged items.

I think it is largely John's fault as well. Everything Amazon ships me is pristine, and I order stuff a few times a month.

The only thing that could make him mad is that I get so many packages shipped. I have never talked to him. He just leaves packages at the door. There are plenty of opportunities for these boxes to be smashed in transit before getting to the delivery driver. Just stacking a moderately heavy package or 2 on top of it would be enough to squash the box.
