Well, hey. I am a college student now. Gotta stuck with the typical college student diet.
I'm here for your body.

Just think about how much top ramen you could have gotten for the price of that pizza!KitKatCara wrote:Well, hey. I am a college student now. Gotta stuck with the typical college student diet.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
My wife and I filed for divorce today.
Its been a long time coming (we separated in March), and I just chose not to bring it up here until now. I guess I wanted to wait until things were "settled" before I talked about it. There's nothing left now but the waiting period.
Months ago she took off on me/cheated on me, and has now shacked up with the guy. It was over for me the minute she left. Which is funny (sad), because it was over for her long before then.
All those years, pissed away.
This situation is the reason I sold my house and bought a new place for myself.
There's a million things I've wanted to say about this over the past few months, and I could go on and on about it now, but I've done a lot of that already and ultimately it would just be a rambling stream of thought.
So there it is.
In other news, my grandmother had a heart attack on Tuesday. We took her to the hospital, she had surgery, and was recovering, only to suffer a stroke on Wednesday night.
I visited her for some time today and she seems to be doing well. She's walking and talking and easily completed those comprehension tests they use on stroke patients. I can only hope that's the end of this particular disaster.
So yeah, good times.

I'm so sorry to hear that man.
That sounds really rough. I know my mom still has some issues and anger related to her first marriage. I can't imagine what it takes to go through something like that man.
I hope things get better for you, CFFJR.

That sucks big time CFFJR, really sorry to hear. I was actually kind of wondering where you had been, it felt like I hadn't been seeing Ranma around lately. To be blunt there's probably little I can say you haven't already heard or already know, but if nothing else, today you can consider it over and move on with your life.

Thanks guys, I truly appreciate it.brunoafh wrote:That sucks big time CFFJR, really sorry to hear. I've been fortunate to have family and good friends helping me with this, and I won't let it change me. I've found that its very easy to hold on to that anger and pain, but if I allow that I only hurt myself you know? Easier said than done though.
Yeah, I haven't been around much lately, more out than in. Things have been slowly winding down though, and after today I think my life is gonna level off a bit.
The finality of what we did today kinda hit me all over again, but you're right in that all I want to do now is move on, and just try to get back to being happy.

What made me smile today is I just discovered that I can pay through my debit card for my Google Play purchases. I purchased Tapatalk and I am ticked off today because Racketboy doesn't support it. SAD FACE ALL OVER MY FACE.

CFFJR,
Well, it seems like your head is in the right place at least. You don't seem bitter or angry, just a bit down in the dumps which anyone would be. Sorry that it is raining crap on you right now, but rest assured time heals all. Keep your head up and feel free to vent whenever you'd like.
Smile: Lots of activity in the backyard this morning. Squirrels chasing each other, robins, blue jays, and finches at the bird feeder, and a big old turtle chomping down on some grapes I fed him.

Ive been trying to get Tapatalk's plugin added to this forum for months. I dont know why it hasn't been done. It's a very simple installation, especially on PHPBB software like this forum.
