It is really "Shadow of the Ninja" with Ryu Hayabusa slapped on it. It is not Ninja Gaiden, but it is still a good - but very different - game. (Shadow of the Ninja is also pretty awesome on the NES...)
I didn't know that. It still had the awesome Ninja Gaiden opening and music, though. And I guess that means I'm gonna have to add Shadow of the Ninja to my NES wishlist.

Minish Cap was fantastic! And it was also made by Capcom, like the Oracle games.

It's darned near perfect. One of my favorite "Why haven't I heard about this game before?" NES games (same with Shatterhand).

Yeah, Shadow of the Ninja is definitely worth tracking down. It should've been a classic.

I group S.C.A.T, Shadow of the Ninja, and Shatterhand as a trilogy of Natsume awesomeness. Games done right on the NES.

I got to try a few NES games I'd never tried before yesterday at a friends and found a few I think are worth picking up. As a bonus: Gremlins 2 and Battle of Olympus are both really cheap. Gargoyle's Quest II - a lot less so.

I adore Battle of Olympus. I've played it so much. But I still, to this day, have not beaten the final area. It's so freaking hard!

I wish this game would have gotten a sequel. This and Crystalis are the 2 games, IMO, that are the most deserving of a sequel and never got one.

I found out today that a dental imaging company bought the production molds of the Atari Jaguar and used the plastic shells for their x-ray machine. The cartridge slot and expansion ports are also used.

Mind blown.
