Unfortunately, it's the truth. No Jordan, no go. Pippen and Grant make a great duo, but Mourning rarely misses a three and Johnson always brings the boomshakalaka.

I'll say this again; waiting sucks, but take advantage of it and embrace it as much as possible. Being stuck somewhere for a while can be a thing of beauty with the right mindset. Makes life much more enjoyable to observe and think rather than get frustrated.

Be it in traffic or standing in a line, you can't control the situation, so make the best of it. Everyone always has something on their mind, and being stuck is a great time to think over things, or think things over. Sure, I'd rather have a cigar on hand, but I enjoy getting stuck most of the time. It's a frustration you can turn into relief. It's a "Holy s#it! I can do nothing" moment. Use that time well.

That is unless you have to pee. Being stuck in line when you have to pee will never be fun.

Smile: Five shirts, yes FIVE button down shirts from the 'Naner Republic for $30usd. Sticker price would have been over $240usd. All on clearance, and I used my "I think I have a coupon on my mobile phone" trick which save me an extra 40% off.

Score.

Actually AppleQueso would probably like to work at one of these non-24 ones. Don't have to deal with customers while working overnight.

We had a woman just up and pee while in line once. So thankful to have a scrubber machine...

At both Wal*Farts I worked at the overnight guys only had to deal with customers for the first hour of their shifts.

I can't imagine stocking shelves and steering those pallets and whatnot while tons of people are milling around.

Speaking of which, I used to assume that all big box stores had overnight people and "stockers." Learned that I was wrong when I worked at Staples. All the shelves are stocked by the regular employees - during their shifts. It's amazing that stuff even makes it to the shelves on time.

It's never really "tons" as by midnight or so there's only ever a handful of people in the store anyway.

They all have coupon codes near the register. It's totally legit and I'm not scamming them. It's like going to BB&B and saying "I forgot my 20% off coupon". They'll honor it.
