Just moved to the USA from the UK - Where do I buy a SNES ?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Any advice much appreciated.

I am obviously aware of eBay and such for buying systems, but am much too impatient for that - I need a system in my hands today !!

We have major chain stores in England where you can walk in and buy retro consoles on the spot. I've visited a few places in malls here which have had an impressive range of retro games, but not the systems themselves.

Could any of you good folks recommend any major retail chains that I could walk into and leave with a SNES in my hands ? I need to satisfy my retro gaming needs !!! :)

(I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah)

Thanks !

Ill be getting one next week.

Welcome!

You might want to try a Pawn shop as well.
An SNES might be a bit old for them, but if you're desperate, it might be worth a try.

Thanks guys. I tried several yard sales and thrift shops and such (couldn't find any flea markets in the area)

I finally gave up and went via the eBay route. I found quite a nice example for $40 !

The games are much easier to find ! I have quickly assembed a collection of 15 good games :)

I've now exhausted all the local Graywhale stores (recommended by family retro games). Can anyone suggest any good (nationwide) stores to buy SNES games ? Or ideally, boxes SNES games ?

Thanks again !

:)

You think $40 is high ?
Seemed to be the expected rate for a console that included all the cables, pads etc. with a couple of games.

Snes cost around $15 here with all cables $40 is just too much, even all of my DC's were way cheaper
