Raptr.com anyone?

Post by noiseredux »

so I'm friends with a few guys on Raptr like Stark and dsheinem, etc. Who else is using the site? I've been on there a few weeks now and I like it a lot. I like that it's auto-tracking hours and achievements, but more than anything I feel like easily comparing your ranking with your friends creates some good motivation and friendly competition. I can easily see who's been playing what for instance. Or you even get emails alerting you if one of your friends surpasses your rank in a certain game.

I've never heard of it. Definitely sounds pretty cool though. :) Perhaps I'll make an account after work. Thanks.

Yep! We need more people on there! I'm thinking about installing the desktop app on my PC, as I think it says that it will make the playtime tracking more accurate or something.

Not something I'd ever be into, but I enjoy checking other peoples' profiles.

So it's an automated backloggery that watches you. Do I have that right?

And it leaves off the 'e' in an attempt to be trendy.

Ah I was wondering about that, I played Last of Us last night and it didn't show up.

It tracks trophies, so it functions as a central place for those + achievements.

I don't like to gamify my gaming so those kinds of services don't interest me. In fact I wish I could disable achievements altogether.. Takes me out of the experience sometimes with those popups. I never asked for them, give me the option to cheat and disable those blighters and I'd be more than glad.
