Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Final Fantasy Type-0 won't ever see a US release I guess. Can't remember the last time this happened with a Final Fantasy game.

Not as good as Skyward Princess Waker.AppleQueso wrote:Twilight Tracks????fastbilly1 wrote: I own two of them, both were gifts - Skyward Sword and Twilight Tracks.

I'm a huge Zelda fan. I own like the entire series (not counting the CD-i titles), but I HATED Spirit Tracks. It was so freaking gimmicky and trains and tracks belong nowhere in a Zelda game. I felt like freaking Mr. Conductor on Shining Time Station, it was ridiculous.
Needless to say, I traded that one.

Heh, I just picked it up from a K-Mart bargain bin but I probably won't get around to playing it for a while.BurningDoom wrote:I'm a huge Zelda fan. Is it that much worse than Phantom Hourglass? I liked that one except for the shitty Temple of the Ocean King stuff.
I'm a only a casual fan of Zelda games though.

I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass. The re-treading through the Ocean Temple floors was annoying, they should have had some way to just pick up where you left off the last time. But it wasn't bad enough to break the game.Gunstar Green wrote:Heh, I just picked it up from a K-Mart bargain bin but I probably won't get around to playing it for a while.BurningDoom wrote:I'm a huge Zelda fan. The train focus in Spirit Tracks was just too ridiculous for me. I could not take the game seriously, and the tracks really hindered that sense of exploration and an open world.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
It is really "Shadow of the Ninja" with Ryu Hayabusa slapped on it. It is not Ninja Gaiden, but it is still a good - but very different - game. (Shadow of the Ninja is also pretty awesome on the NES...)BurningDoom wrote:So I just got Ninja Gaiden Shadow for Game Boy...and you can't stick to walls, in a Ninja Gaiden game...WTF?!
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I still love the console Zelda's, but I haven't really liked the handheld games since the Oracle's.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I thought the Link to the Past GBA port was pretty snazzy.
