Haha my family used to say something similar about WoW. This is the running game. All I ever see you do in this game is run through forests.

I played 'the Running Game' for months! Except oddly, my copy said "Phantasy Star Online" on the cover.

The early game is all about panic management. Once you learn how panic works you can manage it properly until you get full satellite coverage, at which point you should never have to worry about panic again (barring a series of failing at missions).

yeah man, I just feel like I was flailing on base management for a bulk of my game. So that fucked me as I got deeper. I can see myself starting over and doing things differently, but damn. Haha. 14 hrs gone.

Something similar happened on my first attempt at Ironman Classic. Then I did something like 14 restarts of the first month or two until I did well enough across the missions to set myself up properly and then went all the way to finish. Once I got my panic under control I was able to lose my entire high level squad to a bad mission and rebuild.

Has anyone played the multiplayer? I just went a couple of rounds with a buddy of mine last night and it seems pretty cool. I had no idea what I was doing though so I did nothing but lose.

Ps3, seeing as the game was free through plus.

I'm really liking the game but man it's fucking hard. I hadn't been saving regularly so I just had to rage quit after losing my whole squad on a UFO mission last night.
