Well yeah I agree but to clarify, I never really had that problem. I don't ever feel like 'WHEE I GET TO WORK TOMORROW!' but it was never that sinking feeling that the weekend is over. It was just like "ok, work tomorrow and for 5 more days, then Saturday. Cool."
But now its just starting to feel like the last few hours on a Sunday are my last hours of freedom. Again, I know it's silly because I have an easy/good/cushy job. I just think I'm ready for a vacation.
edit: a LONG vacation.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I crossed the beams in the food thread:
Frown: Personal junk that I don't mind sharing with internet weird-os. My love can't ovulate without medication, and it makes her feel like a disappointment and a lousy wife. There isn't an amount of back patting nor "cheer ups" that can get her to stop moping and feeling sorry for herself (biggest turn off ever). I can't stop saying "The medicine works, who cares?", but until there's a bun in the oven, she's becoming the biggest rain, nay downpour, on my everyday parade.
Smile: 50% off on my dry cleaning bill this week, and they got a nasty stain out of one of my ties. Every cloud...

My mother would buy up the candied fruit at 50%+ off after Christmas and toss it in the freezer for next year's cakes. I'm pretty sure she just used cheap alcohol too. That kept costs down.Luke wrote:Eating a piece of mine won't give you a buzz, but you'll smell like you should have one. The brandy really tones down that super sweet taste of candied fruit. The only drawback is that is costs at least $50 to make one cake.

Good luck on the baking.
I don't think I'll ever be ready to have a kid. I've been contemplating getting a vasectomy for several years.

I want a little Duder as much as my wife, but I take the "It'll happen when it happens" approach.

Keep trying. It will happen or it won't. Stressing to much about it and feeling depressed will not help in any way.
I know it is a struggle, however, and I know how hurtful it can be. I will be keeping you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers, and I will keep my fingers crossed for a happy announcement.

Thanks dudes. I swear whenever the missus sees a baby it's like she thinks it is taunting her. Stress never helps anything.fastbilly1 wrote:dittoprfsnl_gmr wrote:Keep trying. It will happen or it won't. Stressing to much about it and feeling depressed will not help in any way.

Smile: Man. We've got some pretty talented tiny artists in our County. I should have brought my actual camera and not my phone camera, but here are some pics from some of my favorites:

Second grade, one kid. I'm ashamed I didn't take a better picture.

"History in Painting". They had two Nazi paintings and a sculpture as well. The ghosts above the skull all have authentic numbers and their portraits are based on actual people.
Mixed mediums too. Both painting and sculpture included clay, and plastic figurines. Bizarre indeed.
