Fixed.

Maybe you are disappointed that the Bruins lost, but you can't say you weren't on the edge of your seat each game.

Sure, it was a great series for hockey. It was a horrible series for Boston; marred by uncharacteristically poor defensive plays, and a monumental breakdown in the third period of game 6. Granted, this was not entirely unlike a lot of games in this year's regular season, for the Bruins. Inevitably, I have to wonder who that team that showed up in the conference semi-finals and conference finals were, because that's the team I'd like to see play throughout the year. They're unstoppable.

I actually think it had a bit to do with Campbell, though. Dude is always big time, and a lot of troubles this season seemed to come when not all of the centermen were healthy. Alas.

Well, the draft is over, the Coyotes are not dead, and Free Agency went by without much shocker (only trades matter) - blame it on the shrinking cap for next season.

Now its waiting for the official approval of the Olympics participation.

Anyone looking forward towards next season?

I'm genuinely curious what the Bruins are going to look like this coming season. I'm also very curious what's going through the minds of the guys in the head office. I get losing Ference to Free Agency, but it kind of sucks considering how much he seemed to have built a life in Boston, and how much he'd done for the city. (I'm pretty sure he was the only player to spend his day with the cup in Boston; took it to parades, his daughter's school, and the children's ward at Mass General.) At least he's originally from Edmonton, so all right. Such is the life of an athlete.

Horton is a big loss. I'd imagine that eight year contract Rask got had something to do with it. (WTF, eight years?) I know he's good, and I suppose they could trade Rask down the line if things don't work out, but the contract seems a little excessive.

The most baffling move to me is the Peverly/Seguin trade. I know they didn't have a very good year last year, but that's almost the entirety of the Bruins' speed gone in one stroke of the pen. They're potentially gifted goal scorers when the puck bounces are going their way, also. So this kid from Dallas, in my mind, needs to be able to account for 1/3 of the team's goals, and twice the speed of Paille. Not to mention, that the last goal-scorer the Bs picked up from Dallas had, I believe, one goal while in the black and gold, and that one went off of his skate--.

I don't know. Maybe they pull a rabbit out of their hat between now and the regular season, but it kind of seems like they went from almost winning the cup, to rebuilding.

I can only assume that a lot of that has to do with what kind of beard you grow in the off-season?

The Rask deal is completely bonkers.

I'm thinking of starting a new trend in facial hair: I'll leave two vertical bars about a half-inch wide from my cheek bones to my chin, then a circular patch under my left nostril. I shall call it, The Pong.

I guess Rask has one of best agents in hockey. Either that, or the Bruins organization isn't over handing out cotton candy contracts. Far be it from me to tell them how to spend their money, though.
