It ultimately comes down to what you want out of your VGA accessory. But both provide something special that is unique to each and cannot be found with any other VGA accessory out there (take it from a guy who own the majority of commercial DC VGA cables).Genesis Knight wrote:Why would you pay $50 for that when you can pay $55 for the Hanzo? Serious question.
Cabou VGA cables are designed to meet your specific needs and more importantly to comply with just about any display/monitor/TV configuration out there for optimum compatibility right from the get go. As such, you exit any additional audio/video cables which you usually need with just about any version of the DC VGA peripheral. The Cabou variant is basically built with all the additional bells and whistles with meticulous craftsmanship.
I do NOT own a HANZO... Yet. But i do own its predecessor which is known as KURO. But I've followed the former's design right from the beginning and even provided some tiny feedback to its creator after receiving KURO to help realize its successor. HAZNO is essentially designed to operate like a standard DC VGA box, meaning you will need the separate VGA cable, Audio AUX cable etc. Keep that in mind. The biggest benefit to HANZO is its built in Scan Line generator which is a pretty awesome feature which may appeal to a particular group of DC gamers.
Whichever you opt for. You really can't go wrong with either.
Hope this answers your question.
