IGPX is pretty good, and so is the anime.

Re: The Anime Game Rule
I had played most of DBZ games (particularly the Budokai series), but I'm now turned off by them due to having a game witht the same story being released over and over again! Seriously, I think I've beaten the likes of Frieza, Cell, Buu, and even Broly for like 30 freaking times! And not to mention, they're too noob-friendlyfor my tastes, but I assume they're made for casual gamers, most of which are fans of the series.
So far, I am not interested in many video game adaptations of many anime, but Hokuto no Ken by Arc System Works looks promising.

Re: The Anime Game Rule
I kinda agree with Apple to an extent, I personally don't find most anime adaptions of mangas to be all that good, especially the super long running shounen type.
I think anime is fairly represented well in video games, no worse than American licenses at least. I think a lot of the big popular animes have at least one video game representing them (but again, most of the animes I'm thinking of were originally manga).
Big ups to Astroboy and Hajime No Ippo, both series have some fun games that are underlooked (though Astroboy's game has gradually built a fan base over some years)

I played the Nintendo DS game based on the last airbender (and I never watched the series so I can't be biased) and it was pretty good. Don't know how the GBA one is.mister j-y wrote:I know it ain't strictly Anime, but are there ANY good Avatar: The Last Airbender games?
Another "not-really anime" cartoon that has a quite good game is Jackie Chan Adventures. The GBA game based on that is a pretty solid beat em up.

Well, when I said "anime adaptations" I meant "video game adaptations of anime," but I don't really disagree with this point (or the rest of your post) either.Violent By Design wrote:I kinda agree with Apple to an extent, I personally don't find most anime adaptions of mangas to be all that good, especially the super long running shounen type.

Re: The Anime Game Rule
Only anime based game I have is DBZ: Attack of the Saiyans for the DS. I got it sealed a couple months back for a nice price. It's supposed to be pretty good right?
