My girlfriend's parents live in a house built in the 1400s. 'Old' houses in America are a cute concept

4 billion isn't several billion.

I live in a 16 billion year old Galaxy anyway.

@Ryan: Abort! Abort! Abort! If you want to live with a girl, get engaged, otherwise, and especially at your age, you need to live alone or with a male best bud roommate.

You don't like someone that is visiting (and you will have tons of visitors) you can kick them out. Can't do that with three girls living in the same pad. If you don't have your own bathroom, you're screwed. Think women are cleaner than men? Not always. Three girls puts your luck at danger. You want a house rule? Too bad, you're out numbered. Love taking sides in an argument? I hope so because you'll be doing a lot of that.

If you choose to move in with three women, I wish you the best. But I think it is a very, very bad idea.

My house was built in the late 1960's, and I'm so glad it was.

New houses, in my experience in the past decade, are shit. They are built in weeks, if not days and are built with the cheapest crap that will pass code.

My Sister lives in what could be called a mansion that was built in 2009 or 2010 and even they are having issues with the house. Rain leaking through the roof and staining the ceilings, their floors that are solid wood look like crap, bannisters are wobbly, shingles are falling off the roof, and their porch seems to be "settling".

I insist that anyone who is in the market for a house to be present during the house inspection and to ask plenty of questions.

As someone who's cleaned more than his share of women's public restrooms... hoo boy. They're always dirtier than the men's. Always.

This feels like one of those things that shouldn't need to be said; you're bringing tens of thousands of dollars in a check for the down payment and you're going into hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. Why the hell would you not go over everything with a fine tooth comb? But then again, we apparently need to tell people that coffee is hot.

My house was built in '77 and so far it's held up well.

Yuck. One reason my friends hated being roommates with girls is that it killed their social life. I mean, I'm sure there is a "Wing Woman" out there somewhere, but Ryan will quickly become "The roommate". And sometimes girls will bring over some hotties when you don't expect it. You can't make another first impression.

Just like "Have a mechanic look at that used car before you buy it" people, for some reason I can not understand, don't do it. They opt for convenience and take the word of the seller. Boggles the mind doesn't it?

But I also inspect everything I purchase, even a lap dance. Taking a second or three to make sure all is Kosher is more than worth it.

Is it a five point inspection? And, does she get mad when you kick the tires?

30 point inspection, at the least. I'm fine with tipping a dancing stripper, but the last lap dance I had was an expense of over two hundred dollars. No stab wounds, no work, no attitude, no glitter, no "stripper smell".

Of course I know you're kidding, but I rarely go to strip clubs and I want my dance to be worth it.
