What's the biggest (And smallest) game you have on PC?

Post by MrEco »

Just curious, figured this might be a fun thread idea.

My biggest is easily Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition, at a whopping 23.7 GB's.

My smallest was a bit harder to find, but turns out to be Ultima 7 Complete Edition. At a teeny tiny 30 MB.

How about you all?

Installed on my PC right this moment?

I have a freeware Boggle clone that takes up a whopping 211 K.
If we're restricting to something released 'commercially', my Doom folder is 39.8 M, and that's with 2 or 3 other modern engine replacements installed.

Largest is Borderlands at 12.6 G.

If I were to install my original Tetris, that would be probably be the smallest commercial game I own as it came on a single 720 K disk.

I wonder if anyone has .kkrieger installed. It's a full 3D fps game in a 95kb executable.

I think the largest is the Secret World at 36.1GB.

Smallest is likely a Flash game or something. Canabalt is 3.5MB I think.

excluding ROMS and the like, I'd say the smallest is probably Zork @ under 200K. I'd have to dig around to see if I have anything smaller actually installed or floating around on disc.

How the hell is that 96K? That's smaller than Zork, but looks amazing.

Only counting natively installed games Zork is probably the smallest for me as well, but I'd have the check when I get home.

Showed this game to a bunch of people here at work. Minds blown.

Installed? No. Downloaded on my PC? Yes.

The world, sounds, and textures are procedurally created. So when you run it, you wait for a bit while it runs the calculations and creates everything from scratch. As a game, it is basic. Play it through once to see it and you're done. As a tech demo it is pretty amazing though. :)

Yeah, I remember snagging it when it first came out and being unimpressed with the actual gameplay. I think Wolfenstein 3D has a bit more depth to it.

Same

Biggest is BL2, smallest installed would be the GOG version of Raptor - should be 36 megs or some such.
