What are you listening to? [VGM Edition]

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Many 8-bit computer ports of arcade games were essentially remade from the ground up - often times with brand new music. Check out this track from Ghosts 'n Goblins on the Commodore 64:

Amazing. I believe it loops through the entire game, which wasn't uncommon for old computer games.

I'm really digging the C64 score of Rastan as well:

That's from the amazing Tim Follin. You should check out some other stuff he did sometime.

I listen to the Hotline Miami soundtrack all the time. It's nice that the game came with OGG audio files, so it just required a little conversion and the soundtrack was in my iPod. My favorite track from Hotline is Hydrogen by M.O.O.N.

That's nice to know. I have the GOG version on PC so I guess I probably can use the OGG files as well. Such a great game, whether on PC, Vita, or PS3 (I've tried them all)

My fave tracks, besides the one I posted are:

Eagerly awaiting the second game
