Like Dave said, a comment like that may have at best warranted questioning and search. A background check to determine if the guy had a history of violent behavior or mental illness, etc. Not an arrest, not 6 months in jail, and certainly not a $500k bail.

I also think the fact that you can have someone you don't like arrested by simply highlighting an offensive comment on facebook and reporting it to the police to be very worrisome. Let's face it, if we arrested anyone who's ever made a tasteless joke on the internet, we'd probably have to arrest half of all internet users ever.

Yea I'm done. You really have nothing to say about dealing with cops Luke. I'm sure if ever need to go to court I'll ask for your advice on where to get a suit and how to look while I'm shut up.

I thought my post about showing Cops respect was fairly clear. I'm not trying to be hostile by any means, but if a cop doesn't say "Turn off the car and place your hands on the wheel" he isn't doing his job, at least in the eyes of NC citizens. Grabbing at anything other than asked can easily lead you to jail, but then again I've only dealt with maybe four cops in my entire life (while on duty)so that is no comparison to your 84+.

I generally dislike cops, just for the personality and persona many of them put up, but then again, both my half sister and uncle are cops.

Got back from State Convention, had a great time. Very fun, and it was just as good as usual. I'm really glad to see our state candidate come out as first president, that's great.

I think my friend going to West Point might kick my ass when he comes in for holiday, since I didn't dance at the convention dance.

I've only got a year left. Its kinda sad.
