I got F1 2011. A lot of fun! The Vita's d-pad was made for racing games.

Brand new Blue Vita (JP)(Wifi) for about $230. Yay or Nay?

I really should just wait for a sweet Black Friday deal since Ys is my big selling point but I think the blue one is sexy. >_>

So, Muramasa, Shinobido 2, Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice, and Wipeout 2048. Also possibly Dragon's Crown, though I haven't decided whether I'd prefer it on PS3 or not.

That's 5 or 6 games that look really good imo. I think it's time to start saving up for a Vita.

Now just to decide if I want to get a used one and save a few bucks, or get a brand new one so I can be more comfortable that it won't have hardware problems or a messed up screen.

I think wait for Black Friday unless you find the Blue console to be an absolute must-have.

Get the blue. After the Hatsune Miku Vita that I recently got, blue is my favorite. The red is nice too.

That would be that smart thing to do I know.
I don't always do the smart thing.

I could probably just take advantage of the free PS Plus games until Ys comes out, but then I've got to think about memory card sizes and prices. What are the average sizes of Vita games again? I know Uncharted is supposed to be pretty big.

I dont really worry about game sizes as they are always available to redownload. I think Best Buy may be clearancing the 4 GB right now. I got one for what I think was 5 bucks? I could be wrong though. Are there any alternatives to the Sony brand cards for the Vita?

Average full title for me I would say is 3GB+. As I have said before, Sony really needs to cut prices and introduce a 64 GB card. Or even 128

Yeah, but I'd like to have more than 1 or 2 games loaded up on it at any given time. There are no third party memory cards either.

So, if I'm going the digital route (for just these PS Plus games for now), anything below 8 or 16GB is crazy talk?

I wish they did a PSPgo-ish Vita with 16 gb on-board with an expandable slot for additional memory.
