Soylent

Post by Ivo »

Anyone here would be interested in this kind of food?
https://campaign.soylent.me/soylent-free-your-body

It is meant to be a balanced mix of nutrients so that you could satisfy your nutrient needs in each meal (without needing to cook or spend time buying ingredients).

I personally am extremely interested in that kind of thing, if they actually pull it off. I can easily imagine myself living almost exclusively on something like this and saving lots and lots of time to do things I enjoy much more than eating regular food.

Most people I think enjoy food too much for this to be more than a niche thing, but maybe there is enough interest.
They don't need clients to be hardcore about it - people could have something like this a few times but not all the time, and enjoy regular food. It is bound to be healthier than the typical quick TV dinners (but also I guess people won't find this very tasty).

Isn't this basically a higher-calorie version of Slim-Fast but with a sci-fi name?

It also reminds me of this comic.
And this sequel comic.
