That...is a big difference. Very odd that IGN votes lower too. They almost always hand out higher scores than GS.
What other games have scored like this, across these two gaming journalism powers?
God Hand ~ IGN says 3.0, GS says 8.0
Metacritic scores:

GS is highest so far, but most of them are pretty dismal.
Maybe Gamespot was paid off??? Combine that with a IGN staff trying to be tough and/or had a bad day?

Jakanden wrote:Nah Gamespot liked it because Greg (the reviewer) loves hard ass games. I have had the import for a couple of weeks and it IS a good game, but it has a huge learning curve and even once you get over it, is hard as hell. It is by no means for everyone.
Is it TRULY hard? A lot of reviews love to fling that word around anymore. Is it "Viewtiful Joe hard"? Because that game wasn't hard except on the 4th difficulty, and that's only because the boss battles lasted 20 minutes, and wore you out.

It is hard like NES Ninja Gaiden hard =)
You cannot block (ever) so you have to rely on doding and moving which is difficult considering the weird controls (this is where the learning curve comes in). The enemies, even minor ones, hit hard and can kill you quick. If you release a demon in the middle of fighting 4 or 5 guys, fuggett about it
