I saw Trap running that tournament too - was like, "Whaaaa...oh, nm." Not sure why he made it look so much like the main tourney so many are used to. (thread titles and OP, etc).

I'm hoping a racketboy team can place top 10 this year.

Best strategy so far is, points, points, points, any way you can get them up until Stage 3 boss. Take a life or two finishing him with as many bombs as possible, then reap those sweet Stage 4 rewards in the first minute or two there.

As far as 130K for Stage 1 as a maximum point threshold, that sounds about right. If you can get 120 or better, that's a good way to start. Even after the Stage 1 boss is defeated, keep shooting. Another 5-10K there if you're lucky.

Good strats! Another thing is the yellow and red point icons chain in value and the chain doesn't reset until you die, so try to get as many as you can but you don't have to risk anything if they fall off the screen.
