But the NES game was indeed based on the kiddie paint guns. :P

Lazer Tag,
Step to this I dare ya.
Walkie Talkies,
On a whole new level.
If you hear "beep beep beep",
You know you're in trouble.

Heading out to Toy's R' Us after lunch to pick up eight lazer tag guns and sensors as well as four walkie talkies. Capture the Flag will be ON this weekend, and I'm really looking forward to a round robin tournament with friends.

I had no clue lazer tag guns were so cheap these days. Back in '87 they were $100 a pop. Sure, they looked a lot sweeter and had more of a Blade Runner look to them, but the game remains the same.

When I move to NYC, one thing I'd love to do is organize a city-wide game of CTF. Can you imagine anything else more epic?

The guns will be equipped to shoot out needles full of heroin and have bayonets attached.

Unfortunately, however, you won't have time to organize anything since you - like every other resident of NYC - will be too busy getting raped and murdered by gigling maniacs as soon as you step off the bus at the port authority.

(If you don't wear gang colors and try to act like a native, however, you might be fine...)

Frown for me, Possible Smile for you Guys ( and I'm livid, so this won't be short):

June 24th. That's when my a/c went out. I've been speaking with the inept service manager and his Boss the past week, as long as other companies to get this situation fixed.

Minutes ago, I had to lay down Mjollnir, and it wasn't pretty, but hell will freeze before I get walked on (actually, my wife walks on my back and it feels awesome...but business speaking, I'm not to be trifled with).

Besides Larry saying "Hi this is Larry", there is little he had to say, so the conversation went a bit like this...

Wait...I should light a cigar as I'm still livid.

*draws, exhales*

In all honesty, these guys are 10% less than their competitors, and $400 is a lot of scratch. I want to use them but they make it difficult. Here is how my rant went:

Larry. We're both men who rely on our reputation to promote our respective businesses. When your service manger promises to respond in a certain time frame and does not, it is the same in my eyes as not showing up to a meeting, which is not only unprofessional but is downright pathetic. He has failed to respond three times, as promised, in a row. That is a total of four demerits when I include him charging me $85usd for a $40usd thermostat. Said manager is also likely getting a cut of the $150usd per hour labor charge, which I find baffling.

Explain to me how I could possibly trust your business. I can have someone here Friday, not next week to install a Trane unit, and as far as I am concerned I'll pay the extra $400 to have it replaced sooner and deal with professionals who respond on time and not working with a team that I have been baby sitting.

$3,500usd or I'll walk.

....The owner will "get back to me".
