First came in and thought the replies seemed pretty harsh. Then I read it... the last part got me. "I don't want to hear you telling me I'll regret it... you can reply if you want but I'm not going to be here", okay so your thread is pointless then. What do you need advice with if you don't want us to reply and you're not going to be here anymore?

God damn, if I ever get this boring, someone take me out behind the barn and do me in.

That's not fair. Traveling, getting into bikes or cars, working on a house - these hobbies can be just as interesting and rewarding as playing or collecting video games.

Cars/bikes is the most boring hobby ever to me. Whenever anyone starts talking about that stuff I have to resist the urge to instantly pass out or run.

As for the rest of it, I was mainly targeting the "settling down" vibe of his post.

Well duh, that's why you're here instead of the musclecar2amrevvers, redneckdirttoys, or importhighwaydorifto forums. :P

This is the semi-serious advice I usually give to healthy people going through hard times:

Hardcore martial arts. Not for everyone, but if you previously enjoyed lifting or wrestling this might be right up your alley. If you want something new and exciting, this is both. Nothing wakes you up in the morning like getting kicked in the stomach! Improve your physical and mental fitness. Who knows. It could be a passion. There are people of all ages getting into this, it isn't just for the young. Assuming you don't have any major joint injuries you should be all right.

Try judo. Your wrestling background will help and your wife will be more okay with it than boxing or something.

I don't know too much about cars, but I spent my earlier 16 years getting around on a bike and everyone should know how to fix their own. If he means motorcycles, then...motorcycles are awesome. You're missing out.

Whatever you do in life give it 110% and all that jazz.

This is a hobby; and it being that, we have every right to choose a different one.

Lets just wish him well and hope that whatever he chooses next wont cause him too much of a dilemma.

Also I'm gonna syconamalize you now!

You name mas, did you choose that for a reason?

Mas means more in spanish.

you want more? You never have enough?

In spanish they sometimes say "siempre quieres mas, nunca estas satisfecho!"

Translation: "You always want more, you're never satisfied!"

Yeah, a lot of us have read your former threads. So I guess we expect that from you.
