Saw the popular threads for what are you eating and drinking, so thought I'd do a snack one, when gaming.

When Gaming I like to munch on trail mix, or chips with a cold powerade to chase it all down.

We used to do gaming nights at my old house pretty frequently, and we'd always grab a few cases of beer, usually a frozen pizza or two to go around and whatever chips we may have had in the house. And by "pretty frequently" I mean, five or six times a week.

I spent a really long time cleaning all those old controllers. So now I don't really snack while gaming. I usually keep a bottle of water with me, and just sip on that.

The only time I've cursed in front of my Mother was when she and my Father were visiting and in the morning she commented "You shouldn't eat frozen fruit for breakfast. You could chip a tooth and because of hockey you already have partials that would be expensive to fix".

My response was "This is my house and I will eat what I see fit for breakfast. I'm a Grown ass man, and I will eat what I want to eat when I want to in the confines of my home. In fact, if I want a glass of Cabernet for breakfast, that is what I will have".

I remember after my short burst my Father gave a Bad Dudes fist pump.

I'm fine with my friends calling me the "Manner Police", as I have struct rules around my house. I don't allow drinks on the floor, and I swear every time someone has broken said rule, someone has spilled a drink on my carpet.

Drinks on a table, food only on the kitchen table, no elbows on the table, no pissing in the shower, no scrounging in the kitchen after 9pm, no drinks on the bedside tables, shoes or slippers on, put things back where they belong, and if you are going to smoke in the parlor, use the ashtray and keep your cigar/smoke AWAY from the carpet. Basic manners, no?

I shouldn't have to babysit people in their thirties, yet I have no choice. And every "That will come out" is met with a "It better, because you are cleaning it".

Truth be told, even while not smoking I've kicked over a bong or two in my life and have always made sure to clean the stains up. People are clumsy (I'm really, really clumsy) and putting anything on the floor that you don't want kicked over is simply an awful idea.
