GTA V Gameplay Trailer

Post by graffix_13 »

So a gameplay trailer for GTA V has been released:

What does everyone think?

I think it looks awesome. My only concern is it might be TOO big. Sometimes with sandbox games I feel like there is so much to do, I don't know what to do first! LOL. I do like the fact that you can switch between characters.

Wow! this might end up replacing San Andreas in my top 10 games of all time and being at the end of the lifecycle they sure know how to push a system to its absolute limit. I'll probably be preordering this on the xbox 360, I hope they eventually do a Ps4 version that rivals the PC version (If they ever even make a PC version).

I wonder how/why the switching characters thing will work. I mean, why would I want to switch to another character if I'm enjoying playing as the other? Maybe they'll limit what parts of the city each one can access? I like the feature, I just wonder why you would want to use it after the novelty wears off?

I like the GTA games. GTA 3 is probably my favorite of the series (it's in my Top 10 All Time). I loved Vice City too (mainly because of motorcyles and 80s music) but the series started to lose me with San Andreas (but I think I was more interested in World of Warcraft at the time, so I didn't play any console games). And I didn't care for GTA IV at all.

I try to do the story missions as much as possible, but at some point I just say "fuck it" and start killing people and blowing shit up. GTA V looks fantastic and hopefully the story will keep me immersed and I won't feel the need to go rogue too early (because, let's be honest, it's going to happen at some point).

I just watched this. I'm going to be picking this up day one for sure now. It looks like the delays Tektoro caused were worth it.

Thanks Tektoro!

I have had about zero interest in GTA V so far, then I saw that trailer and all that changed. I had been pretty turned off by IV, I got it day one, and had my honeymoon period with it, but it soon lost its appeal. Taking itself too seriously, the calls all the time to hang out, I just got bored with the whole thing after the bank job mission.

Watching the trailer, everything looks fresh, the world is bright and full of a ton of detail. I am blown away by the graphics considering the size of the city. I am happy to see a new city setting, I was so tired of the New York clones. I will most likely be picking this up at launch now.

This might be the most fun GTA to mess around in yet. The game is looking really good. Still waiting for it on PC, though.

This game looks great in so many ways. This is coming from someone who found GTAIV to be kinda boring too.
