I second that. And I've had good luck, when unable to find something I want on boxtorrents, searching on Demonoid.

I use www.animesuki.com to track all the new releases. They won't carry licensed stuff, but otherwise they have pretty much everything.

http://kaa.animeconnection.net/torrentpage/ also has a lot of good stuff. They pretty much just do subs of DVD rips, so the quality is always nice. And there's a lot of quality shows on their.

Nice to see some anime love in here. Boxtorrents.com is the best place and don't worry about the ratio just remember to leave it seeding for a while to share, I've had 0.5 for years. I prefer dvd rips exclusively for video quality on big screens, KAA is one of the best but also look out for encodes from anime-supreme, baka-anime, anime4ever, and animecorpx. Some have their own tracker or can be found on boxtorrents, which I use for old imposible to find stuff when all else fails.

Personally if you have the patience and time I would suggest setting up mirc to access the group channels to get stuff directly off their bots, its not as fancy and attention free as torrent but will serve your anime needs. If you are or not familiar with it I can give out some tips on that, I'm there right now.
