Uh, why not download the trial?

They're above average shooters. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Trigger Heart is a really nice port of the Naomi original.

Definately worth picking up. Check out my mini review : http://japhei.blogspot.com/2008/04/trig ... eview.html

Shienryu is a solid shooter kind of on the generic side. I've never played the Raiden games, but apparently it plays just like them. Nice graphics, cool weapons, and frankly, generic isn't such a bad thing. Sometimes I feel like shooters would be better without the scoring system gimmicks they throw in.

yeh the graphics arent anything to write home about in Triggerheart, but the swinging bit is well cool - also the way you can use the same feature to lock on to turrets etc. in boss battles - great stuff - probably my favourite post-the-supposed-death-of-Dreamcast Dreamcast game (phew!)

I second that!

One of the big attractors to it, is that the difficulty level is more forgiving than lets say ikaruga. The mechanics of throwing stuff is more interesting to me than other point systems.

Not as pretty as Psyvariar 2, Ikaruga, Border Down, however it is definitely just as fun and far more forgiving.
