Are your healers master monks? I actually use Sarah, Karna, and Sheela as human shields. I get them out first to lure the enemies. Sarah takes something like 8 hits to kill. Once the enemies are lured I surround them with the other fighters.

Karna and Sheela - yes, Sarah - no. By the time Sarah got promoted, it was way late in the game, and I didn't have a Vigor Ball to do it. As for battles, I'm not exactly a master tactician.

I'm not so great either. I did pretty poorly at the flower battle, lost about 4 characters. Did better with the red baron, everyone survived that one.

Upgraded some mithril weapons, but I don't necessarily have the BEST weapons. I don't have the patience/time to play games of chance.

You don't need the best sword mithril weapons, since the top tier stuff is Bowie exclusive and he gets a better sword through the story. Don't need the best ones for your casters (because they won't be attacking) or your master monks (because they level so easily that you can just get a few levels to make up for the lesser attack on weaker knuckles). And in general, it's not worth stressing to get the best weapons even on your attackers, since you rarely get anything more than a few points of power or the ability to use an underpowered attack spell that can break the item.

I beat the game without any of the mythril weapons (I couldn't get to the Dwarf village) and while it's not that easy, I don't think it makes the later battles that much harder than the battles before you can access that village.

Yeah, it's a pretty stupid name, but it's actually 'Lemon' in the Japanese version too.

Defeated Odd Eye. Hopefully the game will reach its conclusion soon.

Oh yeah. You got two battles left, one of which I just finished with half my characters surviving. And instead of dealing with the last battle with the odds stacked against me, I quickly Egressed out of there, revived the others, and headed back in.

For someone with high levels, Chester can be a bit of a weak ass defensively. Same with Peter.

My steak of good luck continues! In the final battle, I did a little divide and conquer amongst all the other enemies, leaving Zeon alone all by himself. At first, I sent one by one after him, but it wasn't helping much. So after a few turns, I had two people at once go at it. Kazin really helped out with his Blaze 4 spell, and in the end, it was only Bowie and Sarah surviving. Thankfully she had a healing item from Bowie, and a couple attacks from Bowie was enough to win. I have to say that I got VERY lucky.

Good job!

I'm at that tower battle. I warped out twice - first because a couple of my characters died. Second time because my daughter woke up from a nap. The enemies hide behind the columns. Bunch of jerks.

I'll play again at like 10 PM.

Saved at the final battle.

I may not have a chance to play today, unfortunately. But I will finish before the 11th!
