are we going to have this thread just once a week or actually twice a week? I want to put it on my calendar.
Re: Must have PSP games!
3, 5, or 7 times a week would work best for me if that's OK. I have a phobia of even numbers.
Re: Must have PSP games!
It was definitely 3. I've got it in my collection.Opa Opa wrote:It wasn't 4?MrPopo wrote:Breath of Fire 3 comes to mind.

Arpuhguh? Fffpiss? Bah!
"Shmup" is far more elegant!
Re: Must have PSP games!
Yep. Originally on PS1. There was a PSP release in Europe though, but it seems like it's gone up in price a bit recently.SNKnicotine wrote:Is that an Rpg?

Re: Must have PSP games!
I just got an adapter that lets me use two micro SD cards on my psp and two 32GB micro sd cards for 64 GB (I could of bought two 64 GB micro SD cards for a total of 128GB!!!! but that would of been expensive at around $100) Anyway this thread has been very helpful in giving me ideas on what games to download. So far my psp is my favorite and most useful handheld console ever made. I have 8 gigs left on my card so anyone have more suggestions?

Re: Must have PSP games!
2 platformer remakes that haven't been mentioned in this thread so far (I think)
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (Mega Man X)
MediEvil: Resurrection (MediEvil 1)
Mega Man has a new ~~10-15 minute anime cutscene and you can play the game as Vile, but given that the game has been turned from 2D to 2.5D, I'd say the visual update is a failed one, where as in the MediEvil remake is all-around improved version from the original, better sound and graphics.
If you want a hardcore Silent Hill fan review of the game, watch these
But if you don't care about the Silent Hill series as a whole and you're just looking for a horror game, go for it. Apart for some stupid flaws, it's a pretty good horror game as a stand alone title.

As a Silent Hill game it fails, like all non Team Silent SH-titles. It's still better than Downpour/Homecoming/Book of Memories though. Probably the best horror game on the system (not many horror games on PSP that I know of). Gets the audio and visual look quite close to SH1, better than any other Western attempt (still far from it's quality).SNKnicotine wrote:Have any of you played Silent hill origins?
was it any good?

Re: Must have PSP games!
Looks like it's only available as a downloadable game (except in Japan) and it was released in late 2011, no wonder I had never heard of that one before.
I wonder why there are so few horror games on handheld consoles.
