I hope everyone had a happy 4th.

In addition to Twin Falls, we also stopped at Snoqualmie falls and then went to Queen Anne to view the fireworks over lake union from high up in on the hill. I took some animated photographs with my phone to share.

Bought some cones, repeaters, and fountains on the cheap, and talked a friend into bringing in the big guns; mortars and rockets. Had friends over after dinner for the fireworks display and adult beverages. It ruled.

After the display we retired indoors for parlour games.

The rain let up for an hour at about 9 and at around 905 my neighborhood exploded. I realized that for any major holiday I never have to buy fireworks, since the bigones went off all around us. One of my wife's friends braved the rain and came over with her three daughters, who were content to watch Little Mermaid and Robin Hood while we cooked. Sadly the rain started back up at around 945, so we had to pack it in, but now my lawn is drying so I will get to mow the yard.
