BookOff
There are four stores in LA. Believe me, worth a visit, just look at all the goodies I posted in the Finds Thread. An almost weekly visit for me, I'm heading out the door now to see the latest.

Oooh yeah definitely hit Amoeba, the place is huge! They actually have their own dedicated underground parking garage though its always full. Around the corner half a block is a multi level pay parking though.

I usually hit the BookOff here in San Dog, once in a while do the marathon drive in visiting a few BookOffs in La La land. I drove again yesterday up to LA and made time to visit the newest BookOff located in the Lakewood Shopping Center. It opened in March of this year and is advertised as the largest BookOff in California. Definitely worth the drive the store is huge!

There is also a dollar book store across the Lakewood parking lot, every single book including a Mayo Clinic Doctors Reference for a buck. I regret not buying that what seemed like a fifty pound book. I found a couple of PS2 game cheat guides in there. I think I went a little nuts and picked up quite a few games yesterday. No worries the store has a ton of games!
