If that's the same "power joy 008" cart that I have, it is a pretty excellent selection as far as pirates go.

Power Stone 2 for 99 cents! AHHHHHHH! The thrift store that had this game always puts all their games behind the counter, but I found this in the cd section out in the open. I guess they didn't know it was a game since there's no manual. Sonic Adventure 2 was behind the counter though.
Lucky find! That's so cool!

I have no knowledge of those, but if I had to venture I guess I'd lean towards bootleg.
I'm pretty sure these are official. An unusual cart with the extra features, the reason for the large size. I really wish I had known there was a US version before I had bought them, although only the Sun version was sold in the states.

Agree, check out the games before you sell it especially if it is a different cart number compared to your other one. Considering the amount of games versus how little you could sell it for, might be worth keeping the cart.

I already have a boxed Power Joy, so this one I just got is extra. My listing got taken down on Ebay, so it's available here if anyone wants it. PM me an offer!

An impromptu trip to the thrift store got me:
- 2 PS2 controllers for $3 each
- A Gamecube controller for $2
- A Konami Plug N' Play for $2- Which I'm actually pretty excited about because I didn't know Konami had one and I have no idea what games are on it. Hopefully it will be something good.
Britney's Dance Beat for $1...because shitty games can be a fun distraction for 10 minutes on a lazy Sunday.
- GBA SP for $30 with the carry case, charger, and 3 shitty games not worth mentioning. I don't really know why I bought this...I already have 2. This one is pristine. The other 2 I I own have scratches so that's something I guess. They had a silver one too and a DS Lite with like 10 DS games and 5 GBA games for $25. I was going to get that one but the screen was cracked. 2 of the games were Mario Party and Mario & Luigi something or other. If there were a few more decent games I would have gotten it cracked screen and all. I don't normally see Nintendo handheld with carry cases, the charger, and games for that price.

Last weekend was not the best yard sale expedition I had. Last week I picked up from the thrift store a copy of Dino Crisis and Final Fantasy Anthology. At least the case is Anthology. I didn't notice until I got home that the CD inside is Final Fantasy Origins, which I'm not nearly as interested in.

On Saturday I overslept and wound up hitting the earliest yard sales later than I had hoped. The first yard sale I went to I found an NES lot sale for $60. While I was haggling the price with the woman running the sale, a gentleman who I believe is a reseller swooped in and bought the lot out from under me for the full price. :( The only other gaming find for that day was a Platinum GC controller I came across at Savers.

On Sunday, me and some friends traveled to a flea market we hadn't visited before. This market seems to cater mostly to the antique knick-knack crowd. Huge venue, ZERO anything related to gaming. Eventually I found a booth where a lonely CIB genesis Walmart exclusive sports pack system was sitting out for $35. Since I found nothing worthwhile either day, I picked it up for $30. I overpaid and already have a spare model 2, but I figured I could sell off whichever model 2 I don't want and re-coup most of my expense. Unfortunately, when I got home (this is becoming a pattern!) I found the Genesis inside was dead. :x At least I found a random copy of Lakers vs Celtics rolling around inside the case, so...yay.....

As we were leaving the flea market, we stopped at a yard sale along the way and found some unexpected goodness. A pair of pleasant women were selling boxed PC games and board games! I picked up for myself a CIB copy of Lost in LA and the 7th Guest for $1 each. When I got home, I discovered that the 7th Guest CD case is still sealed! :D One of my friends picked up an 80s Mattel Electronics D&D board game.

Some friends of mine live on beautiful Mt Nebo. At the tip up there they have a 'treasure island', basically a shed where people put their junk that someone might want. My friend found a Mega Drive 2 with Brian Lara Cricket, boxed and complete. The deck had nothing with it. The worst part of all this is that I just bought Brian Lara Cricket a few months back from a pawn shop. Now I have 2 complete variants, so that is something. Unfortunately I may never play it. I fear that someone found a sweet haul of Mega Drive gear and just left the dross which they couldn't use. Still, free MD2, I definately need another one of those (sarcasm)

Also bought RC Grand Prix - Master System. Boxed but with sun-faded artwork. These jokers at a pawn shop wanted $9.00. I got them down to $6.00. Also picked up Howl's Moving Castle on DVD, 2 discs, both in wonderful condition, in a cardboard case, a cool $3.00.

Finally decided to stop being lazy and start posting some of my finds on here.

On holiday in France found this gameboy (nice to have one not yellowed) with Tetris in a case and Donkey in the back for 5 euros at a village car boot sale.

Also, after much gesticulatory haggling and embarrassingly poor French, David Douillet's Judo on PS2 for 2 euros. Who is David Douillet, you ask? I do not know.

At another village car boot sale in France I got this pretty good CIB Earthworm Jim for the Mega Drive for 2 euros. The seller had a bunch of MD stuff as a bundle, but I managed to use my lack of language skills to shame them into letting me have this separately, as the rest was sport related gubbins.

Finally, nipped into a car boot in London as a reward for going dress shopping with the wife and filled a bag with the following for £10:
Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus PS2 (CIB)
Demon Chaos PS2 (CIB)
Champions: Return to Arms PS2 (CIB)
Mortal Kombat MD (CIB)
Duke Nukem GBC (Factory Sealed - not often you see that!)
